i like how depending of the race, the character have different stances with their weapons (the blood elves take an elegant stance, the gnomes wield a weapon thats too big for them, the pandaren wield it like it was a martial arts weapon). i also like that they give bows to the races connected to nature and rifles to every other race

@@oXdeeiv i mean, sure, it can feel a bit dissapointing if you were expection completely different races, but instead of two races like in Burning Crusade or Cataclysm, we got 8 variations of races with different cultures and class options (also we got cyborg gnomes and fox people)

The earlier design of Warcraft was over the top badassery. The inclusion of cutsie as a design element is jarring.I guess it’s now less about grounded world building and more about the business model building.

new races are so lazy, they couldve added so much new cooler races , but they change a bit of the design of an existing race and call it a new race. I was going to get the game but it honestly has turned into something lazy , expensive, pay to win, and lame.

they’re lore friendly though, and worked into the story of their respective expansions. but you said “pay to win” in reference to races you can’t buy to unlock and don’t offer unfair advantages over the other races, so you’re clearly just Big Mad

Well Void elves are just Blood Elves but Purple Lightforged draeneis are just golden draeneis Dark Iron Dwarves are cooler Dwarves Kul Tirans are well ... people from Kul Tiras Mechagnomes are gnomes but worse Nightbornes are just arcane night elves Highmountain Taurens are Moosecows Maghar orcs are Orcs but Cooler Zandalari Trolls are chad Darkspear Trolls Vulpera are Sand Racoons thatfight snakes.

Honestly i rather play cata or any expansion from tbc to pandaria, and also retail wow has weird graphics / cartoonish feel to it and are just cringe. New races are not even cool, maybe for a 6year old but yeah, and demonhunter and evoker to even be a Class is just weird and overkill! But yeah everyone should play what they like and maybe im just nostalgic emotional trippin grumpy dude but i really cant enjoy retail even tho i want to.

Some races cannot play certain classes, demon hunters can only be played by night/blood elves for exemple
