Like, the latter's great if you're shooting for realism, but the former is like a perfect middle ground of 2D and 3D aesthetics. The only thing is that these textures look low-res by today's standards--imagine what a game with 8K hand-painted textures on the models would look like!

I played this a few years ago because me and my Dad met some guy called Mel Glenham at The World's End bar in Camden who said he was a pro-WOW player and that he could help me become a pro. I added him on Facebook, but he never got back to me. He either lied to get drinks or he forgot. I played it a bit, but got eventually got bored with it, I did not understand the PVP either and found it really frustrating.

Literally everyone who gets their friend into wow. I got into it in 2008 because a rl friend of mine played, never played with him once lol. The game is not well designed for co op play at all until max level. Quest chains completely disincentivize playing with friends because as soon as one person gets ahead, they don't want to help you catch up because it isn't worth it for them.

@@Shmandalf That's a bad homie or bad strat to get you in, I truly hated leveling but I would always make an alt for a buddy if he wanted to join me when an expansion started. But you're right they didn't start adding incentives or catch up mechanics until much later than when you gave it a try. And then they cranked it not even up to 11 but all the way to 16 and now you can just pay blizzard to start at the level the new expansion is designed for. Never thought we'd get to a point where you would pay money to a company for it to remove content from your game but here we are.
