I think he mentioned Pensacola, Nuremberg, Witchita, Cleveland, Mainz, and perhaps a few others. For most people though, I do think they are grinding to get the T10 ship, so it’s nice to know up front which ones are most likely to appeal to you before you put in all that time and realize you don’t like the prize. This happened to me with Venezia. I loved the Italian cruiser grind but was disappointed to realize that the T10 was a bit underwhelming compared to its peers. That kind of soured the overall experience.

Great video… looking forward to the rest of the series. I’ve been waiting (and maybe recommending) that you do this for a long time! Personally the shell arcs on Wooster made it very difficult to learn on. Agree that San Martin is great, and pretty easy. Wish that was out when I first started to play cruiser. Minotaur is great but I think it’s one of the hardest ships to play well and most people should avoid it until they are really comfortable with the class.

I am a player coming from wows Legends. Your input is also applicable in that game. Not really sure about the current playerbase in Blitz but in Legends, most of the time, you'd be in matches where you are forced to chase enemy DD if you are a cruiser to protect your team instead of farming damage disregarding type of cruiser you are in, while your team's DDs go around the map chasing BBs.

I’ve played very little of legends but some at t7 and it seems they are much easier to kill especially with much better radar then we have here

Poor Marseille getting no love. I think that boat is a buff and legendary mod away from being playable... but that can be/was said about a lot of CAs

Good to hear you are started by to play the game, look up Slai47 and you can watch his t10 ranking of cruisers lot give you a good idea on what each one does, it features my good friend Alister and I and our takes on all of the cruisers, but if you would just like to know what cruiser is best to grind for first, I would say grind and get San Martin

I'm curious how this serie goes. I'm glad the Gouden Leeuw wasn't mentioned as a bad cruiser, but it's missing from the T10 ships you have. ;) (It's my 1st and until now only T10) You mentioned that high DPM ships are good for DD hunting, but what makes a cruiser a DD hunter, a cruiser hunter, Jack of all trades. Is there a hint in the specifications? Dispersion isn't in there. What I'm curious about is how do you decide what a completely new cruiser in a new line will most likely be good for. How to decide what path to try. As I already understood from all CCs, it also depends on which server you're playing, Asian, EU or NA. Does that affect your gameplay as well?

Very good question my apologies for replying late to this… cruiser is by far my most played ship class and I have played over 80% of the cruisers and t10 so when you play so much cruiser you can look at the stats and figure out play-style rather quickly… the biggest difference between a dd hunter and a cruiser hunter is AP pen, I’ll use Hindenburg as an example, Hindenburg is a cruiser killer but the ap pen past 7km will hit dds for 10k if aimed properly, so it does both very well… but Moskva has to much ap pen so it destroys cruisers but overpens dds, zao has perfect ap pen to clap dds but not enough to consistently deal with cruisers, i hope that makes sense and if it doesn’t I can try to better explain in my next video
