Awesome video... You can either spell this ship as Udaloi (Удалои) or Udaloy (Удалой). Same thing goes for Gnevny... Gnevniy (Гневний) or Gnevny (Гневнй), you can spell it either way. Russian is more of what you say - a "Pronounciation-based language". More emphasis is given on pronounciation rather than *absolutely* accurate use of letters and terms. Another thing: I researched and purchased the KMS Bismarck just yesterday. Can you please make a BRAWLING Bismarck video please? :) Have a nice day!

Udaloy is a great DD - my favourite with the Östergotland … thanks for review … both are good with guns … torps are ok ..

Am I seeing something similar to the pan Asian line where the fushun was arguably better than its higher tier counter part? Because if it is I am definitely grinding to the tier 9 Udaloy (which is spelt correctly)

That was my first impression. Ognevoy and Udaloy are hugely fun multirole DDs to play.

@@FunandGameswithTerry yeah I can already tell they are fun ships. I can see the Udaloy getting nerfed because of the possible mistake with the toro count. But besides that these seem like great ships. I just got enough xp to unlock ognevoy and judging by your videos these might be some of the most enjoyable Soviet dds. (especially coming from the Minsk) And terry if you had the blueprints and time would you grind to the Udaloy on your personal account?

I have been looking forward to this line coming out. Ognevoy is a strong ship for its tier, so I figured these next two would be very nice. I’ll probably do the same thing that I did with the original line. I kept the Kiev and Khaba ( had those before the German DD line came out). I think seeing the stats of two, keep both and eventually get the historical camo for both.

I haven't played any of the previous Soviet DDs beyond Minsk, but if I was going to grind up, I'd probably go with the new ones

From the numbers, I would say so, yes. But I'll have to play Grozovoy first to give a definite answer on that. For DDs, T9 is usually quite doable, especially when they're multirole.

The Monarch in the second battle is why the enemy team lost. Just watch his path and see the mighty flanking he did in the match. Also, why didn’t your CV finish off the enemy CV when you nearly killed it? Man, I wish WG would come up with a better system for teamscore to actually punish bad plays.

Long time kiev player here. The gun on udaloi and kiev may be the same. But these two require very different playstyle. Kiev smaller, nimbler and faster makes it suitable as pure gunboat. udaloi is a big ship and a squishy one. you can't play her like kiev even if you want to because of size, armor, speed and maneuverability difference. If i see enemy german, or soviet gun boat i'd run or maybe drop some torp but i don't dare take them one on one. The torp is scary, you got 15 of them which make udaloi like soviet benham. Great ship nonetheless

I haven't played Kiev, so just going by the numbers here. I still play Udaloy as a gunboat, given that the torps don't hit too hard, but having a smoke compensates somewhat for the lesser speed and manoeuvrability.
