According to iChase, curling... Like the IJN tier 9 (cant remember the name)... Stay at distance, use the guns to their strength (they are very accurate) and make use of the speed to get to the position of greatest advantage... Most of the "big players" seem to want to use their cruisers as brawlers or assassins, and right now that is not the playstyle that favors the French tier 10.

And they probably shouldn't... All to often they end up either dismissing an entire ship-line, like what happened with the British Cruisers (that ended up having some of the best stats in turns of win-rating, in the game), or they end up only seeing the game in 4-5 ships and thus contributes to power-creep. They do a fair job, but their views affects their action, and only looking at a "competitive play" means the ships would have no to very little difference in use.

what a negative comments.... nobody is forced to play those french cruisers, and if you don t play them - well shoot and destroy them if you think they are so bad. I just don t hope they go as far with changing the game as in world of tanks. Wargaming, do it in an easy tempo so everything stays balanced... which is not the case in tanks (which was unplayable last year)

5:30 'the tier 10 can boast one of the best artillery systems among cruisers in the game' which is why it has the lowest DPM, crappy pen and lowest fires per minute due to its low RoF. But luckily it makes up for this by also having terrible AA and crap armour. Oh wait.

Pretty sure the Emile Bertin doesn't get the speed boost in game, and thus doesn't have a chance to go anywhere near 39 knots. Would be great if you gave her that tho, since the whole ship is made from paper mache.

๋Just the same feeling when German BB comes live. Just look at them. Grosser Kurfurst has 4 triple turrets the same as Montana but with bigger caliber and the feeling at the moment was like Montana gonna be obsolete. Now we gonna have French cruiser which is just very similar to Russian CA line, DD-speed CA and then tier 10 follows the same pattern as the first pair of rivals, high speed with big gun and you know what is Moskva's strength other than accuracy and firing trajectory.

Big gun, but with the largest reload amoung cruiser of the game, and ONE OF THE LOWEST PEN OF THE TIER, with incredible slow shells wich looses tons of velocity. I don't speak for all cruiser but don't worry, Moskva is still the queen.

Ok so WG didn't care (always) for the testers who said the tiers 8 to 10 (seriously T10 has the worst DPM for both AP and HE including fire damages among every T10 cruisers) had irrelevant gun and AA, and insufficient speed to compensate the lack of armor. WG also reduce the speed on ships of 1 knot (Emile Bertin could go at 40kt not 39kt, La Galissonnière 32 not 3, like the Dunkerque previously) and the speed boost just seem lacking behind radar (which Algerie had), hydro and smoke...

Help! this update has ruined my game. There are major problems with the centering of the game in full and windowed screen and the click boxes are out of alignment with the images. The whole game GUI has shifted about a cm upward so some of the GUI is missing. So far I have not heard of anyone else with this issue and therefore I can't find a fix online and the trouble shooter on the wargaming website is broken at the first step because the only two categories are WOT and WOT blitz so I can't find a solution there either. I am on a mid-2013 13" MacBook air with an intel HD 5000 1536 MB with 4 GB of ram. Please let me know if you have a solution!

Incredible bunch of lies, even at the time it was made : * Fastest cruisers. Wrong : even with consummables, they hardly reach others' speed, meaning they're even slower without the pathetic 2 knots boost. * Really good to chase DDs and CVs with speed and torps. Fucking wrong. To do so, you need : good RoF or very high HE dmg, and of course good bouncing armor to increase survivability, and good speed. Failed to meet any of those criteria. * Henri IV has amongst the best guns of its class. Wrong. Having the biggest caliber only means that her shells will slower more. At the time of the video (because WG announced incoming tweaks), it has dumbshit low pen, and dumbshit low RoF, resulting in a very poor DPM, without the possibility to make nice burst damage at close range. Making it a very bad Tier X gun, both for sniping and brawling. I eventually don't care that WG insert some idiotic biases about baguettes or even fleeing Frenchies (we all know that, as Eastern Europe ex-URSS developers, they're permanently drunk because of vodka so it's fine ;) ). I don't have any problem to see a French cruiser tree that would be made of fast, paper-armored, glass-cannon ships (should they be brawlers or snipers), with a steep learning curve. But at the time of the video, they were only average-speed, paper-armored, pop-gun ships, and WG was totally aware. Currently, its best ships hardly match other nations, while the worst are totally junk. Stop the bullshit and get at work balancing this line. Get at work.
