Penetration damage and citadel hit are two different things; normal penetration deals 30% of max damage while citadel hit deals 100, and the ribbons given is separate (I've had several games where my first shot scored only a citadel and I don't get the penetration/shots hit ribbon)

@@DanielRusev It's actually more confusing since later on in the video where you spammed AP on the carrier, a citadel hit *does* count as a penetration as both counter for citadel hits and penetration goes up in one hit, so there is a possibility for a change...yet I haven't seen anything about this in the past few changelogs

most battleships have 13~16 inch cannons, Yamato has 18.1 inch cannons. so if a Yamato actually hits, it HITS LIKE A SPEEDING B-2 GOING AT MAX SPEEDS AND DIVING!
