I got this ship luckly out of a santa container, i find its one of those ships that gives you a reality check on your skill level. Play it well and you can easliy get over 150k games or go full potatoe and instantly get sent back to port. Being a fully fledged potatoe myself I still realy enjoy it and there is something satisfying about over taking a dd at 40kts in a massive battle cruiser

It has a massive citadel, and if that wasn’t enough it’s also weakly armored, that being said it has good concealment and mobility for a BB. Also guns are very accurate and can deal huge damage. That being said, the main way you should play this is with concealment + main artillery build, strategy would be to stay behind teammates and use them as shields, and make good use of islands and concealment, stay far away from enemy, shoot battleships, if your flank starts to fall apart you should to retreat other flank right away

@sealordmountbatten it's gotten better after I wrote this comment, but the guns are a mixed bag, sometimes they do well, but they are prone to lots of overpens, and the pens you get can sometimes he disappointing. I've been playing it as a medium range ambusher, similar to the Incomparable I do think it's playstyle and quirks taken some getting used to, it is growing on me a little bit

I got Tsurugi, Navarn AND Johnston in the santa containers and all of those ships are really fun to play [ on the EU server ]

Using Assymetric Battkes to grind out the IJN BC Line. Really enjoying it and at T9 at the moment. Guns are accurate with the spotter plane up etc. One shot so many cruisers with the line. Picked the premium up from Santa crates and not played it yet but if like the tech tree then should be good.

It's very different - citadel much bigger, guns are always accurate, it's much faster and has torps. It's closer to Georgia or Incomparable than Adatara.

I got her in the very first bundle in the IJN BC event. So I basically got her for 300 something dubs. She's like the Georgia for me where the guns are really good but takes a couple of matches to get used to them. She also has much higher he alpha than other ijn bbs much like the IV premium bc.

I got one this year, and the couple games I played I was VERY happy with the guns. The armor I have to get used to. Al;so, I saw so many secondary builds for it, I tried that as I love that gimmick, but I think with that armor, that isnt ideal. I will prolly lean into the guns instead.

I got this ship this morning. Been playing it. Not having great luck with it so far....I guess trying to figure it out still. But man it catches fire so easy even with every possible thing to help with fires. Almost feels like the Iwami. And using AP, I might get like 5K damage with all guns fired. Secondaries are too slow to reload to be of any real benefit. Where as when I see a Musashi and hits me, damn it just tears me up! HE doesn't seem to be great either. I think the RI is a better ship honestly. I get it is T10, but I think the RI should be a T9 ship.

She's much more like Daisen than the Techline. She's meant to be a fast sniper who can reposition fast and keep on the flank where you shouldn't expect a BB to be able to get. However her armor, like Daisen, is a joke. The big knock on her vs Daisen, is that despite having 457's vs Daisen's 410's, she actually has significantly less pen on those guns. Changes should make her better able to deal with the mediocre pen as she will simply swap to spicy HE to deal with targets she can't pen.

Will you call lucky or unlucky the I got 2 tier 6 premiums 2 days in a row from just normal super containers. They are FR25 and Mysore. I have played the FR25 and it's not my type of ship and I haven't played the Mysore but I think it's just another Perth and I don't like that ship either. I was hoping to get at least a tier 8 or 9 ship this Christmas season but I think my luck for this year just ran out.

I have Georgia, and i love that ship. But sometimes her gun is kinda inaccurate and i hope her gun to be more accurate. I'd like to try Tsurugi for her much accurate gun. Now, how ppl hate playing her?

Tsurugi don't have BC dispersion....but japanese large cruiser dispersion (Azuma/Yoshino) which is better than BC and manage to be better than cruiser dispersion at close range (under 7km for horizontal and 11km for vertical dispersion)

Sealord: A Battleship Tsurugi Me: You know what? After Bungo named after province when it is a Battlecruiser. I give up. You can call Tsurugi, Battleship too… This means I’ll call Iowa, Battlecruiser from now on. Fight me. Yes… Tsurugi is a Battlecruiser as her name is literally named after mountains. Not sure why Bungo is the only BC in the game that name after Province. Don’t give me the BC of “It is the next evolution of Kii” if that’s the case Amagi shouldn’t named Amagi at all hence Amagi is a longer and next evolution after Tosa class Battleship. Like I said, Bungo’s name is very inconsistent. If she is a Battlecruiser she should named after mountains like any other IJN Battlecruisers do. So let’s find a suitable name for Bungo. Fuji sounds fine. I mean, a Tier X BC the highest tier among BC deserve to be name after the largest mountain of Japan. IJN Fuji.

Sealord has plenty mid and bad games but of course he's most likely going to cherry pick videos or clips for yt. Which every wows content creator does except for some exceptions like pq doing one takes. But heck, some of these games are live streamed and made into videos later. Thats common practice. You either don't really play the game much or have skill issues. Perhaps both
