Qardo even if he was working in the mess hall he should know it, but as a radio guy he had to know it incase of a message warning about danger income from port, starboard, bow or stern. thats one of the first thing they taught me in the Coast Guard

well to be fair, at the start of the battle, I can understand why the Pensacola would leave him. He should not, but if he didn't watch where he is sailing, the Pensacola wasn't watching and they ran into each other. Wasn't much of a problem, but if I'd be the pensacola and instantly getting flamed by the other ship (see the chat: "Pensacola you noob"), well, I would do the same. Typical behaviour that I don't like. Yes, the Cruiser is faster, but he in the Tirpitz did turn the ship into the course of the Pensacola. Also, he is flaming the team in the end, blaming the loss on two "Suicide idiots". If you weren't there to see what was happening, you shouldn't flame. Also: that wouldn't have lost them the game. It's not the only thing that went wrong. He didn't play bad, but you should always look at your game first. Because that's the thing you actually can control. Also the Pensacola did actually try to save the CV, that's okay - even if he maybe could react faster, but at least he tried as soon as the CV pinged. Also, you can't cimplain if you are alone if you sail in the open in front of 5 ships. It may be okay in regards of making space, taking damage, but a Pensacola can't follow you there, she will just be blown out of the water if she tries to get into range to shoot, because she is made out of paper and can't stand against 5 ships who will shoot you first. Also, yes, the Fuso was afk. That's bad, on a general level bad, nobody likes those, doesn't matter if he didn't want to play tier 8 or if he just went afk after queuing. But it was mentioned in the chat for a long time, and he did overextend alot. It would have been better to turn around at the west flank instead of sailing for the A line, even if the game should have been won easier by the team in the end. Yeah, you are sometimes on your own in a BB because your team is just leaving you. But at the same time: in this game he left his teammates. It's also your job to stay with your team - that's an error I still do, and I have to change that, I can't go in with my Battleship and expect a cruiser to support me while he would just die following me.

Oh god, that gave me a flashback. A few months back, I was playing a Standard battle Random game that was very very close. 2 minutes from the end, all that's left is an IJN DD on our side, and a tier 8 RU CA on the other. We are leading by a few points, and all this DD needs to do is stay away. Our *entire* team is begging this guy to run in the chat ... line after line ... warning him that that cruiser has radar and he will get smoked if he gets too close and draws attention to his presence in the area. You can imagine what happened next. :/

Heh. This is kind of similar to how I got my second Kolbanov. It was Abey, we were on the northern team and me in my IS-6 went down the western gorge. I met was left behind by like 1-2 tanks going in the same direction and they wiped the floor with the enemy tanks in the same area. The enemy meanwhile lemingtrained up the eastern coastal road and annihilated nearly my entire team. Meanwhile me and another guy got to the enemy capture point and I started capping. At this point like nearly the entire enemy team 6-7 tanks were nearing our cap and they were probably thinking we are never going to get to our cap so let's outcap those dudes in our cap. It is at this point I think my ally in the enemy cap died. The ONLY remaining teammate was I think a hero Hellcat or some other american TD. Why hero? because he stalled the enemy long enough for me to accumulate enough points that they had no chance of outcapping me and tied the ENTIRE enemy team who were focusing on him and not on the cap. But PLOTTWIST, not the entire enemy team was foolish enough to forget to reset, a cromwell was in the Abey area and suddenly he was shooting at me. Nope no plotwists. WIth his gun against a well angled IS-6 at those ranges he had like no chance. The Hellkitty dies, I slam a 122mm shell into Cromwell doing my only damage in the entire game and finish capping, win and get one of most undeserved Kolbanovs ever. I was certain for a time even that I got it by mistake because I thought you had to KILL 6+ enemies and win as the last tank standing. But no any win as the last tank on your team against 6+ enemies gets you Kolbanov.

Usually ones where you're deeply engrossed in a fight for survival, there's a brief lull in the action and you check the scores and wonder what happened to the rest of your team - they were only all there a minute ago - or you get interrupted by movie voice over guy declaring that "you are your teams last hope".

+Tamás Kerecsényi They all seem to come from points wins, don't recall ever seeing a replay for all kills - but that's just the way WOWS battles are set up, with a point based time limit. I just don't know if it's possible to kill 4 ships before time runs out one way or another - at least not with the ships I drive and the weapons reload time.

While I agree that not using your repair party immediately can be beneficial in the long run, it only makes sense if you're under threat. Robertob, especially since he has the premium repair party loaded, should definitely have used it. Just letting it burn is a waste of health if you are not currently under threat.

I disagree Jingles. I think Robertob is a stupid player. he starts off by insulting the Pensacola for a minor collision which makes the Pensacola abandon him early on (and I would abandon him too) then he continues on up a flank unsupported only to then start spamming SOS when nobody is anywhere near him to help. he has a bad attitude and is bad at strategy. is he good at fighting? he's competent that's all.

Here's what I think is happening with the Fuso. He loads in, sees hes a tier 6 in a tier 8 match, looks around and leaves with his guns pointing to the left. Does nothing except auto shoot down some aircraft that fly by, but when an enemy ship comes into range on his left the auto tracker engages causing his guns to move ever so slightly making him look like a bad bot. 99.99% of the time this guy would be the cause of a loss, but in a situation where you just need to survive,aka NOT die, and the only other surviving members of the team suicide charge. Someone doing absolutely nothing at the spawn point is better than the other players.

uh Jingles. I got a kinda weird question. If I google it, port is left and starboard is right. Starboard comes from an old english word that essentially means steering side and is the RIGHT side, because that's the side where the steering oar used to go through the stern of the ship. Now, I realize that you worked in the British Navy for a long time, so maybe I just got it wrong? But google and several other sites tell me starboard is the right side and port the left. You however kept calling the Tirpitz's left side starboard and vice versa.

You lied. I didnt cry. I however did howl with nearly boundless hatred. My girlfriend asked me why I was howling watching yt, she obviously didnt understand the reason. This is the only epic medal i dont have... and he gets it! There is no justice.

As to that Fuso, I've... actually had a glitch that made that happen to me. Now, I'm not saying this is what happened, but sometimes when I start up World of Tanks, World of Warships, or whatever, sometimes my keyboard stops functioning. None of my keys work, my mouse buttons don't work, and I can't move at all. I can still hit Esc and exit out mind, but nothing else works. Doubt that's what's happening, but... it's possible?

The Lexington died because he stopped moving and didn't even bother moving when he could easily see the destroyer on the map coming for him and to add to that he put him self in a position where he couldn't sail forward because he would have beached him self. Then he cries in chat about his own destroyers not protecting him lol.... If you die like that in a carrier it is your own fault!
