Nobody is claiming it isn’t BS. Just that the torpedo speed is the least BS part of it, since they can be refitted rather easily. The speed is a lot harder to justify - it’d be cheaper to build a new ship than to put new engines in, and there was no Austrian-Hungarian empire to do that upgrade anyway.

One Dutch ship in this game is HNLMS Tromp named after lieutenant-admiral general Cornelis Tromp. That name took me back to being a kid and reading about the ship Kronan and the battle of Öland 1676, there a combined Dutch Danish fleet defeated the Swedish navy and sank the flagship Kronan - Tromp comanding the Dutch fleet. The popular history book I read about Kronan, claimed the best comander in the Swedish navy was Uggla (actually meaning Owl). So the point is that I thought about using the name "admiral Uggla" in World of warships. However, that's not a name that would make Jingles laugh.

The swedish commander in the battle at Södra Öland 1776 was baron (Friherre) amiral Lorentz Creutz, not Uggla on Svärdet , he was Creutz second in command.

about the Jaeger - the battleship New Jersey was a WW2 BB armed eventually with Tomahawk missiles - so ships can be upgraded after all, Jingles, lol.

As someone else just pointed out to me - it's not just that the ship was designed in 1917. The ship is described as belonging to the Austria-Hungarian navy. That means it has to be from no later than 1918, since after that, there was no Austria-Hungary to be part of the navy of.

What's wrong with triple Georgias? Did you see what the other team had? A PanAm BB and and a German BB. The enemy team is basically saying they're garbage players and need not only the AI to shoot for them (secondaries) but want to be immune to being citadel'd, so they can sail broadside to everything. Oh, and the German BB has torpedos because why the hell not. And the PanAM BB can out turn and out accelerate DDs because ofcourse they can.... But somehow triple Georgias is bad? Jingles, go home, you're drunk. And if you are home, go outside, then go back inside, you're drunk.
