August 17th 2019 saw the World Pipe Band Championships take place at Glasgow Green.

I went to Simon Fraser University and it was always a pleasure to take a break from reading in the library and walk to the quad to catch a bit of their practice sessions. It reminded me of when I was a kid and would listen to the Royal Canadian Legion pipe band in Port Coquitlam practicing.
