Great fly , love the use of a scud back it is a lure but so what, I have several that I have made using resin to shape a head or body . Your use of the scud back has inspired me to try it on one of my flies/lures as I was using markers scud back is much more cleaner and precise .

What is your UV cure light? I keep buying cheap portable ones, and most suck. It seems like the Infiniti or Plasma by Loon are insanely popular, and expensive.

The secret lies within the lamp. You need 3.7 V. My lamp is a 20$ uv torch from Amazon. Even comes with a charger. People use Them to find amber at Night on the beach. 😅

Hi, thanks for showing that you are using the SW. gammarus shells, what size would you use on the #4 NS 156? Please could you send me a link to the shop you buy them from because I have Googled the SW Gammarus shells and nowhere seems to have stock. Maybe if you showed the hooks and shells for a little longer and held them still with the sizes in frame you may get less people asking. Also the people that ask questions are doing so because they want to tie your fly the way you tied it, you should take it as a compliment. I watch and enjoy your videos, but I asked you a question about shell sizes in the comments of the last Blob video and you didn't actually answer my question about what size shell to use for what size hook which is why I am asking again? Please take what I have said as constructive criticism, because I have followed your channel for a long time and not as a negative criticism. Thanks and I look forward to reading your answers.

Like I mentioned a few times the shellbacks might not fit every brand of hook the same because these sizes vary. In all seriousness what is a size hook even? 😅 I used a medium for a size 10 ns156 but it might not fit a size gamakatsu for example.

Hi, thanks for replying to my message. Like I said I have bought the Ahrex NS 156 #4 or size 4, and do you have a link to the shop where you buy the clear and black gammarus shells?
