World Rank 1 Blood Surge Necromancer | 3 Minutes Pit 101 Speed Farm

1. Pushing pit 100 might be a piece of cake for other builds, but not for a blood surge necromancer. I am super happy to find one of the "answer" to pit 100, while other says its impossible. This is definitely not THE BEST build nor really the "world rank 1" blood surge setup. The truly best setup is still waiting for us to discover.
2. Using blood surge to push pit is a constant battle between "resource", "survivability" and "damage". The conclusion is to focus all these three key elements in the boss fight scenario, if you can solve these in boss fight, clearing trash mobs won't be a problem, because blood surge is born for clearing density. The priority is always resource, survivability, damage. Without resource, you play very awkward, losing both survivability and damage. And you won't have damage if you are dead. Take care of resource, then survivability, then optimise damage. We are going to apply this mindset on our affix selection, skill tree and paragon.
3. Using "Blood Moon Breeches" requires better gear. You ideally need two essence per second greater affix and ring of starless skies. The goal is you can press down the blood surge for as long as you happy. Use Tibault's Will instead if you are short on essence in the boss fight.
4. You need all res to 70 and armour to 9230 no matter what. You can even sacrifice some affixes in order to reach it. The paragon board helps you get lots of armour and res, if you are over capping, take some additive damage nodes instead.
5. Skill rotation: Decrepify. Bone prison to apply vulnerable. Bone storm if its up. Evade (Metamorphosis) in to mobs. Blight (Only for bosses or elites). Blood surge. Ideally, you let all the trash mobs chase you until you find a group of elites and kill them together. Position and keep yourself unstoppable using your Metamorphosis. Try not to lose your Aspect of Rathma's Chosen up between groups.
6. Boss fight: Keep using bone prison to apply vulnerable and regain essence. Position and keep yourself unstoppable using your Metamorphosis. Run in outer circle when lilith's echo is up.

@@chris.w391 Well, Blood Surge is my favorite Necro build so far, not cuz it's strongest, but cuz it's unique. I too have been trying to create a 'worthy' Blood Surge build, but mine doesn't even come close to yours - and that really speaks to how good of a job you did with it. Congrats!

I don’t understand why Cruor's Embrace didn’t come with ranks of Hewed Flesh instead of chance to heal. Blood mist could use a buff to number of corpses dropped too.

@Chris.W Hey Chris, what are you using to reduce the cooldown so fast on the metamorphisis/bat teleport thing? I've tried looking through your build planner but couldn't find it. I might just be missing or not getting it. I'm also wondering if it's something in your paragon tree that is reducing that cooldown. It's clear when you are attacking something is doing it though.

Its the first affix on the boot: attsck reduce evade cd for 1.5 second.

Using Doombringer and not using shadowblight with blighted aspect in amulet? Never made a blood surge necro yet so maybe I'm missing something. Also wouldnt Black River pair good with your gloves? Thanks.

Hmm, that;s an interesting idea, might need to try.. But blood surge has a very low lucky hit base, plus that we need the blood key passive.
