*World Record* Bloodborne - Any% Speedrun in

This is a speedrun of Bloodborne on the 1.00, unpatched version of the game, not to be confused with Any% Current Patch. The skips and tech in this run can only be achieved by installing the game from a vanilla copy while disconnected from the internet.
Third completed run, and we have a world record. It's amazing because I was having many runs with this pace that all died to various memes, so it was nice to be able to punch one through. This run is actually within 10 seconds of my sum of best, so with the current tech, there is not much further it can be optimized without a "perfect" run.
I can say I am happy with everything in this run, other than the Wet Nurse teleport that lost a handful of seconds.

Nobody owns a world record. They only hold it. Beautiful run (double stagger Rom is wild). I'm glad it could be lowered. My 1852 has such a flawed wetnurse and shadows, it was not impossible to beat. I guess we'll see if anyone ever grinds the shard rng and seeks sub 1830. Again, great job!

The skips you're referring to are not possible on current patch. Any% is run on old patch for this very reason. The reason I'm not doing wolf skip is because the fence skip is faster.

Just finished the game last night for the first time and came to see what the Any% run was like. Amazing stuff. Also I literally only just now realized something about the game while watching this. There's a part near the end in Mergo's Loft where you can pull a lever that makes a giant brain mass with eyes that resembles a huge Brain Trust enemy come crashing down. I didn't realize until just now that that creature must be what's attacking you from a distance when you're heading towards the structure from the outside at 15:55.

I wasn't sure if there was a way to go any deeper, but I was so close to the end of the game by that point I didn't want to spend a ton of time exploring.

There's no reason to do wolf skip on old patch when the fence skip is possible. It's faster and doesn't depend on any rng.

I've answered this question in the comments many times. As I explained in the video description, most of the tech in this run only works on old patch. It is not viable for current patch runs. It is an underflow by simply dropping a negative quantity of the item while using said item at the same time, which resets the value to 99.
