I'm still amazed that IRB works for speed runs. I remember exploring out there by that giant wall a long time ago, thinking about how hilarious it would be if climbing a giant wall in the middle of nowhere was a critical part of a speedrub XD

I've gotten the impression he studies maths or CS. I notice quite a lot of the most skilled players in D2 are turbo nerds, which it great. (Imagine's dps graphs are pretty cool, was useful to get an idea of how target lock scales)

14:47 in my experience in lfg I’ve never had an experience like that. Runners go as soon as their knight is dead and they have the symbol.

Yeah, granted I didn't get around to getting into Vow until a few weeks after launch, but "early running" is the only strat I've ever heard anyone even mention for acquisition. I'd imagine trying to do it simultaneously after killing all 3 knights would be the far harder way for the average LFG.

great vid like always, keep up the great work!! Maybe after this series a vid like talking about the sunset raids and how some speedrun tech could emprove certain raids and raid encounters. (if the sunset raids ever should come back) i would find that very very interesting

god ive really fallen in love with your videos, these speedrunner breakdowns are fantastically interesting (and filled with knowledge, even if I cant use most of it since my friends/clan are rather casual overall, no shade its fun with them even if it isnt optimized)

Man being the skipper in raid runs overall sounds like its realy fun knowing the routes and being good at the movement sounds a bit more fun than doing the mechanics and destiny out of bounds looks always so cool

Have you found any use for parasite with 1 second holster mod reload? I believe it is also getting the impact damage increase from the upcoming gl buff which would be increased by worm's hunger.

Exhibition Best Encounter I assume what you say at 34:23 is because of a Frame Rule? And it just happens to be several seconds time instead of 1 second?

This answers so many questions… Do you know why Crow dies when he pushes himself into the wall using stasis? Is it just a death barrier that causes him to spawn at the prior coordinates?

Nah it's a load zone boundary but because where the game wants to spawn him is obstructed it kills him instantly

Your strat for acquisition is the normal strat. Ive never been in a group that kills all three knights before going in any rooms. You want to get them done asap.

Leave it to vow, the raid that includes relics from previous raids and bringing them together, to also be the raid that takes the speed run techs from previous raids and brings them all together

I had no idea Early Running in Acquisition wasn't the normal way to do it, or that it even had a name. Just seems like a waste of time not to, even if you're not speedrunning

If they're running API and you're on old gen, you might affect load times, but generally RTA isn't really affected by console for most strats

man seeing Rhulk for the first time was so, so intimidating. he really carried the entire raid, and his boss arena is bland af I'm still kinda annoyed the exotic is just a random pulse rifle instead of the glaive
