Classic Tetris Monthly is a series of monthly #Nintendo #Tetris tournaments, started by founding mother fridaywitch in December 2017, and resurrected by vandweller in October 2018. Nowadays, it's become the largest NES Tetris #Tournament expanding to seven events: The Masters Event, the Challengers Circuit, the Futures Circuit, the Hopefuls Circuit, the Community Tournament, Tetris Deathmatch and Monday Night Chasedown!

Such a fun match! Thank you Fractal for giving me the dream game I wanted in game number 4. This tournament meant a lot to me. It was a tournament to prove that despite life being thrown at me, and not being successful in prior das tournaments, that I’m still one of the strongest comp das players. Lol I’ve been playing for 4.5 years. I was in CTWC 2019 in my first year of playing. I won this even last year and made top 10 at CTWC 2020 😊

Sharky has always been a cheater using extra tapping which wasn't supposed to be allowed in DAS tournaments. I didn't make this up. Listen to the commentator here: 6:05.

Quick tapping is allowed because the two presses of the button don't occur with consecutive movements of the piece

I was a first time viewer who knew nothing about Tetris a year ago, I’ve learned a lot from matching these matches and the commentators explaining these things. Just because you’re familiar doesn’t mean everyone is.
