What I've learned watching this: 1. There is a shortcut to equip potions from inventory to belt 2. You can equip your mercenary with a weapon by dropping on his portrait 3. There are map configurations where Great Marsh isn't optional 4. There are map configurations where Arreat Plateau isn't to north east from Frigid Highlands 5. You can skip the Minions of Destruction

It is very easy to missaim in these corridors. Also, I don't actually remember, but there is a possibility that the big worms stop the boulder, like some big monsters do. Combined with the fact that boulder is kept at lvl 1, maybe the risk is not worth the effort.

Dick Rick a couple things: the main reason is to get The runeword stealth which gives faster run/walk, stamina, and hit recovery. Additionally there are a lot of boss groups in the tower which are the best source of exp in the game. Since he has to be level 20 to beat the ancients it speeds things up a lot to get those levels early.

What is the benefit of a Tal and Eth rune in armor? And which would you put in a helmet? Sorry but I know almost nothing about runes. I mostly use them for weapons.

they make runewords that are really strong. So tal + eth = stealth armor which gives fcr, fhr, frw, etc. Runes in helm were just for fire resist. Leaf staf (Tir + Ral) gives fire skills for more dmg

Have you modded the game? I’m confused: how are you able to survive these areas at lower levels? Without a merc? Also what system are you running this on? I keep it on my old Windows 7 laptop (with 8GB RAM) because it was a pain to get it to work and i do not want to try again on my newer PC.... but it runs so laggy for a while. nope this is vanilla D2! Just running glass cannon builds and being very intentional with how I play to run fast and survive :D I'm on Windows 8. Runs great in windowed mode (and compatibility mode)

The Outside is Basically a First Person The Sims but you dont get to pick what you lool like, what youre name is, and you only get to control one character, if you want to change how you look you have to pay real money via microtransactions or put a shit of hours in it. You can also spend a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per ingame day doing "jobs" , basically Very long recurring quests, which if done properly will allow you to earn currency called money which is used to pay for said microtransactions. Everything in the game is manual (more so than in Manual Samuel) and everything you do will heavily impact the outcome of the future. There is technically no ending to the outside. The game is over when your character dies. And nobody has yet figured out what happens after your character dies. Some think nothing happens, and you cannot play the game ever again. Some believe you get a new game depending on how well or how bad you did in the Outside, with either the game Heaven or the game Hell respectively. Some believe you just instantly start over with a new character or respawn as an NPC known as an "Animal"... we may never know the truth..

@Marlon - you may want to try a few command line shortcuts. I recall I had to fool with it quite a bit to get it to work properly, and PlugY can be very buggy in itself. There's a few private realms out there where they've got it working, so you might want to check some of the PvPGN forums for more info.

Why did you take those detours in the tower after you had reached level 11? The experience is minimal in the tower at this level, and you will get to 12 in the Tamoe Highland/Outer Clositer anyway. I believe this would save you a whole minute on a run like this. Congrats on the WR btw!
