World record in bale wrapping

On September 9, 2024, Kverneland made public a world record, in the art of making round bales. During 24 hours, a total of 1,587 wrapped bales were produced. That means an average of 54 seconds per bale. And we are talking here about both baling and wrapping. Furthermore, transport distances between different fields were included. The undersigned was the scientific supervisor of this and it was of course a great honor for Linköping University and Agtech Sweden. I checked all the digital data in the different systems, check-weighed bales and analyzed the different characteristics of the hay in different fields. It was also an experience to drive so hard for a whole day.
