The texts of the world's major religions have impact throughout all of human experience. Join professors from across Harvard as they discuss those texts during an event coinciding with the launch of HDS's new online course, "World Religions Through Their Scriptures."
The course is Harvard Divinity School's second massive open online course offered through the edX platform. Led by HDS Senior Lecturer Diane Moore, director of the Religious Literacy Project, the course will be taught by six faculty members and launched March 1, 2016.

Don’t intermix Buddhism and Jainism with Hinduism. The core message of Buddhist and jain religion are completely different from Vedic scriptures.

Well, at the end of the day it's your choice and we'll see whose right after we die, but then it'll be too late for some people. @@revan552 I'm not a scholar so I can't tell you what the best evidences, but what I can say is that in the Qur'an the development of a fetus in the mother's womb is described in detail exactly as it's mentioned today in biology, it wasn't possible for anyone to know exactly how if formed and shaped before the microscope was invented, which is centuries after the Qur'an was revealed. Also, The Qur'an describes the Earth as egg shaped, when most people at that time thought that if you walked in 1 direction you would fall off the edge of the earth. It is now know that the earth is not exactly round shaped, it's more like an oval shape, similar to an egg. Apart from that, the Qur'an is the only book on earth that millions of people around the world have memorised word for word, letter for letter. Even children as young as 6, this is also a miracle and it's mentioned in the Qur'an that Allah has made it easy for people to remember, and we can see the proof today. I can keep going but I gave these 3 examples for now

the core of Hindu texts is Upanishads.. they are called final commentary or understanding of Vedas... they are the most amazing books ever written in the most amazing language, Sanskrit, ever spoken by humans... Faith is called “Blind Faith “ for a reason . eg… As in the person who climbed Mount Everest who experienced the “ sensation of the Nirvana “ reaching those heights .. Only then ,and only then does any individual person ,can (experience) that experience… but for those of us who haven’t climbed up to the heavens ,so to speak 🗣️,can only imagine and understand what they felt , same as in the “Word of the Lord Jesus Christ and His teachings of the true living son of God who descended from the heavens for our salvation, he was one of our greatest Mystic for lack of a better word. So, from these statements we can deduce that we humans we're creations and at the same time we're higher powers, therefore simply each one of us is God, hence all together we're Gods!
