I emailed m2c on the same thing about the clearance. They said they stated it on the product description that material has to be removed to clear the nut and arm for steering. I didn’t think their description or video did it justice. I had to remove a lot of material to get that bad boy to steer. Nice install and great vid! No one is doing videos for 56118 installs, everyone is just saying it fits when there’s way more to it than that, so thank you for that!

nice build bro! I just bought a 2nd kraton to turn into 12s beast as well. After thinking about it I decided going with the max 5 g2 combo and having to buy the m2c bellcrank to fit the motor was a hassle when for a similar price you can just get a max 5 g2 + a big block tp motor for 12s and it will drop right in with zero mods needed.

i heard the new hobbywing 1250kv 5690 is a better choice for the kraton 8s . same thickness as the 56118 but a tad shorter! no it's not 12s , but the weight you will same will make it faster!

It's fast but you have to be careful with gearing that combo don't like tall gearing and the 800kv can take it all day the only thing is its not a direct fit in the kraton
