@SOSA January 28, 2020. First off, Texas has always been generally careless and more loose when it comes to COVID-19 restrictions, so even if it was known to be in Texas then (which I don't think it was), there may have been little to no mandates, as it may not have been spreading on the area at that time. In the beginning, a lot of places waited until it came to them before they shut down -- it was circulating in Pennsylvania and Maryland, but Delaware didn't impose mandates or close anything until our first case. Also, in January, the known cases then were on the West Coast, not in Texas yet as far as I know.
@noahpehowic6080
@noahpehowic6080 3 жыл бұрын
@@Jayfnt Well, actually there's some debate about that. It started in November 2019 in Wuhan and wasn't known to be in the US (and the general public wasn't worried about or wasn't aware that it was in China) until January in Washington state. However, some people have been coming out and saying that they had gotten a flu that was really bad, but they just thought it was the flu when instead it could've been COVID-19.

Southern hospitality is some bullshit. I moved to Texas from California, trust me people here are brain dead and country. Rude as hell because they can't process logic fast enough. They have no respect for time. You as a customer are not doing a favor but the business is doing you a favor for giving you service. Being a business person I met the most irresponsible people here who don't respect your time and money break your shit and don't even offer to to fix it. Country ass people. I remember when I was five we went to the US (I'm from the UK) and the amount of food options in the US is insane not just that but the sizes, the UK is good too - We have a lot of takeaway options but typically foods are the same regardless of where you shop, something I admire in the US is that your shopping habits are so diverse, so one will be Ice Cream, the other will be Jerky, most UK convenience shops are staple goods and on occasion will have a slush machine with just two flavours. I'd love to see something like Buc-Ee's in the UK, that amount of food and drink option is crazy.
