I feel like the Nural is not as loud and the decibel level feels a little less than my previous babyliss from about 4-5yrs ago now. About the same as the original supersonic. Hope that helps. Nothing that ever annoys me and I’m sensitive to sound’.

Well done video, Kristi! 🏆 I bought a Dyson hair dryer last year and I still cant get it to look like a regular hair dryer blow out on my texture. The scalp protection is genius.

I've been deciding whether to get this or not. My previous supersonic, I don't use that much have gone back to a bio ionic hair druer as I felt that this didn't hold the style that well. Has the nural improved this? I have lots of bleached fine hair past my shoulders.

Thank you so much for watching and sharing that. I personally think this new nural is a lot better than the previous supersonic my hair just felt softer. I obviously have very bleached blonde hair as well so for me scalp protection is crucial more than anything with a hair dryer. When you say it’s not holding your style do you mean the volume from the blowout? Have you tried blowing out your hair with Velcro rollers? That was a trick my mom always did growing up and my hair held volume so beautifully. When you blow dry it stick the Velcro roller in your hair and leave it in there for about 10 minutes or even longer and I’m telling you, you will have the most beautiful blow out and it will hold!! My amazing mom was a cosmetologist for 50 years she had really good tips. Growing up in the 80’s & 90’s I wore rollers my whole life and I tell you nothing works better! 😍

Hi Nadia! Great question for my hair type that needs smoothing the Airstrait for sure because I can rough dry with it locked and smooth at the same time! If I want a full blow out and more curls than the Nural. But for me personally I reach for the Airstrait the most because it is quick and my frizzy hair still needs to be smoothed out. So it’s just easier and faster for me! I hope that helps you. ❤️

Hi Patricia! I’m so glad you asked because my hairdresser had the supersonic r and it’s very good and super lightweight but the Nural although it weighs more has the scalp protection which I love!! But you if you’re looking for g for something lighter weight and your a hairdresser then the supersonic r is amazing! But it doesn’t have the cool technology this new Nural has and everyone can get vs the R that requires a cosmetology license. Other than the lightness I still prefer the Nural using both now for the last month. When I go to the salon I get to test out the r a lot but I still love the scalp protection mode in this new Nural! Hope that helps you! 🤗❤️

How is the Dyson Supersonic Professional r hair dryer different from the Nural

Hi Patricia! I think I just answered that in the other message but let me know if you didn’t see that one. Biggest difference is that the R is super lightweight compared to the general SuperSonics and it doesn’t have the scalp protection mode that the normal has!! 😍❤️

Is it better to buy from Dyson themselves instead of other suppliers?

Hi Angel. There’s really no difference. I find it easier to buy from other locations like Sephora or Ulta because it’s easier to return if I’m not happy or something is not working in that first 30 days. I would rather fill out the warranty info on Dyson but it’s whatever is easier for you. I’ve done Dyson with my Airwrap and no issues.
