I bought gaea last week. The combination of gaea and final e tip was just fabulous. final e tip alleviates aggresive feature of gaea's treble, and it makes amazing timbre.

@@PantsaBear The only other IEM I own at that price is the MEST mk2, and I vastly prefer the Gaea over it. Other mid-high end sets I own like the SA6 ultra and IE600 are a noticable step back, but the 7A supernova holds it's own against the Gaea, providing a better tonal balance but less engaging sound. If you're looking for a agressive sounding but still somewhat neutral IEM, fun but balanced, Gaea is a great choice.

Watching reviews of absolute top-of-the-line IEMs always makes me a bit giddy imagining what it must be like to experience them in person. After quite a while of saving, I just put in an order for a pair of Moondrop Variations earlier today, and I'm incredibly excited for when they'll arrive. My idea of a theoretical perfect IEM for me (at least, from what I've been able to discern from reviews, of course) would be the Anole VX, but the idea of someday spending $1000+ on an IEM (let alone several thousands) is just too far out of my grasp for my current situation. Everything I've seen from Elysian so far makes it sound like one of the utmost TOTL IEM brands, and definitely one I'd keep my eye on if I ever actually had the money for it.

I would say enjoy what you have for as long as possible. No need to rush. The market moves very fast and new IEMs come out all the time to replace the old ones. New best, new best, new best happens all the time. Only upgrade when you really want to or feel its time.

Gaea unique iem. their brightness is fully regulated by the tips. if you want more bass and less brightness, use the tips of final audio type e. if you want a little more brightness, use the radius deep tips. If you want maximum brightness, use the complete tips of spinfit W1. And use warmer sound sources. Absolutely all people hear differently. Someone needs brighter, someone needs darker. Gaea is unique and the sound of the tips changes a lot. I'm perfect with Final and it's a higher sound level and an improvement after theaudio monarch mk2. Now you know it too :) You can't imagine what a great bass in Gaea with other tips from Final or Radius. He's amazing. It's a subwoofer in my ears. The 2.1 system with a musical subwoofer that does not interfere with other frequencies at the same time sounds majestic.

Thank you for the excellent comparisons. It would be great if you could also review the noble audio jade as that's very similar priced to gaea and there are almost no reviews out there for it. Noble's been getting a lot of attencion lately for their TOL iems but read almost nothing from their sub 2k models. Thanks!

I believe Gaea has more mid-bass than Mest Mk2 but less sub-bass than Mest. Mest has more recessed upper mids than Gaea which has a more forward vocal presentation. Gaea has more details and transparency but about the same soundstage and imaging as the Mest, maybe slightly better. I’ve been eyeing the Gaea too 😂

Hey Timmy, I've decided on the Gaea and Softears Twilight as my two final IEMs when I have the $$$ late this year hopefully I'm looking for a great IEM core: two sets that compliment each other. I reckon this is a good combo due to both having completely different signatures: Bright and warm. Gaea for details, Twilight for timbre and musically.

As is the case with all items, there really isn't an accurate way of depending on what is comfortable aside from wearing them. Generally speaking,more expensive iem's tend to be bigger, thus a bit more expensive. Sorry if it was a bit late for you, figured I would just chip in.

Thank you...Iam enjoying these days the og Thieaudio Oracle and I love it so much, there is also subwoofer like effect, of course probably not the same as IEM twice something expansive but it's great. Another sets Iam interested in besides Gaea and Diva are Symphonium Helios, Aür Audio Neon pro and 7th acoustics Supernova 🙋‍♂️👍
