World's Biggest Knex Frisbee Ride

Hello everyone,
Welcome to another video where today I show you the world's biggest knex frisbee ride to this date!
I called it Chaos, cause why not :).
The ride is
162cm (5.31ft) Wide,
127cm (4.16ft) Deep,
and 445cm (14.60ft) High.
The axle of the center arm has a 6mm thick metal rod to support the weight and has 3 (12V) motors to make the center arm rotate 360 degrees.
The frisbee also rotates 360 degrees thanks to a 6V motor while the seats swings in all kinds of directions when the ride is active.
The floor can be lowered down to prevent the center arm from smashing into it when the arm is rotating.
Incase you find another video with a knex frisbee ride/ swing ride that is higher than 445cm, please let me know and I'll change the title right away.

Impressive! The lowering floor is a nice touch. My only complaint is that the frisbee itself seems too small compared to the arm.

I understand your point. I also would've liked the frisbee a bit bigger, and it was in the beginning. But I made it smaller to save some weight. Thanks for your comment!

amazing, i loved to build this right when i was young with 2 12v knex motors. But it couldnt rotate all the way although i think i experimented with a 12v plug so it could have power and keep on rotating without wires getting tangled up

What are you using as an axle? Is knex really that strong or at you using a metal rod?

Jesse Palmer I used a 6mm thick rod as an axle. I'ts the strongest rod that knex makes and you can find it in the "6 foot ferris wheel" set.

This is not a knex set you can buy, I made it myself with the pieces that I've been collecting for a few years. It has pieces from the "6 Foot Ferris Wheel" set, 3 or 4 "Big Ball Factory" sets, and some smaller knex sets as well.

Thanks. It took me about 3 months to build it, which I know is very long, but I had to break it down in big pieces to bring it outside everytime I wanted to test it out. O wow, you have a control panel? Thats really cool! I hope you will be able to fix it. Btw I'm aware of what happened in Ohio. I've seen the video where you can see the accident. But I don't think it hit the floor to be completely honest. But thats just my opinion... Thanks again for your comment :).

Cool I've built one like yours but smaller and the floor started to lower but mine is operated by a panel and then it starts to raise becuase the panel restarted and the ride was going fast and it hit the ground and then the car breaks like I know it sound like the Ohio state fair ride but like I'm repairing and the lights went out
