The $29 rate per night is hard to beat, but the hotel is definitely not a 5-star rated hotel the same way the Savoy Hotel, Peninsula Hotel, etc. are rated. You could probably live in one of these, and a lot of hotels offer extended rates. I imagine they might be able to offer this to you for $600-$700/mo for an extended stay. When I lived in a van, and it'd get too hot for my dogs, we'd stay at extended stay hotels for 1-2 weeks at a time, and we'd save $100-$200 by booking such a long stay. They rather have a guaranteed booking for a few extra days, then have vacant rooms not making them money.
