Ha! We've been doing this style of video for YEARS! I guess it just so happens that a lot of more recent videos have been just POVs. We aren't always fortunate to be able to get this much footage of rides, sometimes.

Just got back from Japan, and went to Fuji Q. This ride was incredible! 0-112 in less then 2 secs. Went on 3 times and you still never expect that launch!!!

I heard the staff is the one who decides the launch timing and they mess with the timing some time. When I rode the old dodonpa, they waited for like 3 seconds after the countdown then it launched right when I got into "oh, not yet?" mode.

i have been on this coaster - no video will ever do it justice. notice that people start screaming of swearing after leaving the tunnel. because until them you are still processing the g's on your body and just the insane accelaration. It is not overstated when stated that, it feels like you moved so fast that you left your shadow behind.

Fun fact: This ride pulls 3.43 g's during the launch. So basically, this is what you ride when you want to experience a rocket launch, without the need for the rocket.

To give that acceleration some scale, Kingda Ka's acceleration is 53.6 ft/s^2. Formula Rossa's acceleration is 54.7 ft/s^2. Do-Dodonpa's acceleration is 102.6 ft/s^2!!! I need to get on this coaster ASAP!

I deeeeeeefinitely couldn’t ride this since I got brain surgery and have epilepsy, but if I could, even though I normally didn’t used to do rides with loops, I honestly think I’d try this ride. It just looks so insane (and definitely rough), but so wildly fun, like wow. This was a great video

I've been on most of the tallest, fastest & quickest coasters in the world, and this one looks intense! I will have to visit Japan one day and ride it, as well as the one full circuit lift hill Giga that I'm missing...Steel Dragon 2000. (Still also need Red Force & Tower Of Terror)
