World's Fastest True Stick Shift Mustang; 8.58@165, 93 88mm Turbo Synchronized T56 6 Speed Record

After some recent changes to the car, we brought it back out to set the record, then back it up with a better pass! There's more left in the car with a more aggressive tune and higher boost, but unfortunately the car is only legal to 8.50s and the season's come to an end!
We believe this to be the world's fastest pass for a mustang on a true ( synchronized ) manual transmission!

@@porschetigersince2006 its actually the wot box cutting the tach input for antilag, watch during the launch, every shift he's flat foot shifting. sensor picks up he hits the clutch, cuts crank pos sensor to cut all spark, tach drops to 0, foot back off clutch, and off we go again.

I ordered an 89 lx 5.0 5 speed coupe in sapphire blue back in the fall of 88. Radio delete, visor light delete, zero option car. Fastest stock 5.0 at my strip while I owned it. 14.13 @ 98.46 getting a little sideways on the 1-2 shift. Had 2:73 gears though I did order one option with the 3:08 gears that never came. I let it go in 92. I still dream about driving it.. did a LOT of street racing with it.

Along with many other DSM's running low 8's with 5 speeds...i say they are all badass cars...Its just so much cooler watching a stick shift run the track!! Craig C The time starts when you roll the beams. The green light could come on, and you could sit there and build boost for 10 seconds if you wanted, It will have ZERO effect on your ET.
