you were experiencing B mode which is not a final program of attractions. Many effects and movements were missing or turned off. Once this fully opens with A mode, it will work even more better and beautifully! you'll see a new underground scene as well.

@@ElmoPlayss at the end you should drop into the catacombs. There you'll see skeletons and insturments. There should be some effects there as well. This isn't working yet and will be added in the (near) future,

Great video report by the both of you! I am beyond happy that this turned out as great as seems to have. It looks like the quintessential Efteling attraction. Cannot wait to experience this in person, hopefully in summer, would love to stay in the new Grand hotel!

Rode it today, it’s just crazy! I’m in love with the atmosphere, only the violin looks a bit cheap, but they can fix that. Definitely one of the best attractions!

Sounds like an amazing experience, i was a bit sceptical about if it would be a worthy successor for spookslot but recent tv spots have showed me otherwise. I am especially fond of the conductor animatronic.

You said there wasnt any jumpscares, but when I rode it on monday the beginning of the ride had a jumpscare at the beginning, when Joseph appeared after the dark bit. Maybe they changed it or it was broken for you, i dont know though

We don’t consider this a jump scare. It can be scary and the intensity differs per bench. We we’re able to ride it on Monday and we we’re more in front and then it was more scary then more in the back. But we heard nobody scream in terror so we stick to our opinion.

I heard this was program ride B. Some effects didnt work yet, for example the catacombs. In the final version you fall into the catacombs, thus making the free fall longer. Now you only fall to the entrance/exit level. And some other effects didnt work yet.

Freefall won’t fall “deeper”. The ride system can’t drop past entrance level, it can (in future) only tilt to basement level.

Loved this video, will be coming back here next Spring-so by that time the Grand Hotel would have opened as well 😀 Such a shame that other company went bust or the hotel would of opened this year.... I have been coming here since I was 4. In the Summer of 1985 and one of my first memories-I really miss De Bob though 😢 I first knew/heard of it when I saw it on British holiday programme: Wish You Were Here, and my parents would always tape it every week on VHS and I would watch it again and again and begged them to take me and after a few months th ey did and been going nearly every year since 😃😁 What theme parks in the UK have you been to????

The hotel is set to open end of May or early June. We’re really curious hoe the grand hotel will work out. To be honest we haven’t visited any parks in the UK yet but we are planning a trip. Which parks should we include in your opinion?

@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL So glad it is still opening in Spring, yea I'm also reallycurious how it will work out and they have built soooo much since that other company took over!!!! Oh really, just I knew you had been all over the world and yet parts of UK are a lot more closer than the US. I would def say and you prob know of all/if not most of these but: Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Pleasurewood Hills, Legoland Windsor, Drayton Manor! How about other attractions like: Madame Tussauds( I love the one in Amsterdam) , London Dungeon, Jorvik Viking Centre, Cadbury World, etc 😀

I second Alton Towers Mike , I’m in Ireland so don’t get over as often I’d like to the fab English parks, as we have an extra expensive to get there being across the water but my family loves Alton Towers , I think Dutch Theme park Network would like it because I’m addition to some top class attractions it also has some lovely calm natural areas with the garden part in the middle and the very cool sky ride that goes above it for an ariel view of the gardens. And there is a bit of history to Alton , the towers themselves go back centuries , i don’t know how far back but they are ancient lol that makes it special park

Oh how exciting to visit loads of parks in one trip . I have a big soft spot for Drayton Manor in the Midlands area of England because it has the cutest area that caters so well for younger children based on an English classic childrens book series Thomas the Tank engine , they even do a little show where the fat controller who is the boss of the trains comes out and does a song and dance , there are thrill rides and other themed areas as well we had so many lovely days out to this park . Also I have never been myself but keep meaning to plan it cus it looks amazing and I heard good things about it, Harry Potter studio tour , it’s not a theme park though , more like an interactive experience, it’s about 1 hour 20 mins drive from London . Anyway wherever you go will be fab I’m sure . England has a lot to offer. I still have all my fingers crossed that Universal England will happen that would be amazing if they pull that off 😊

Ik vind Symbolica wel een Efteling attractie en hoewel hij veel geld heeft gekost, is het voor mij toch na Droomvlucht en Fata morgana de nr. 3 qua darkrides... Je mist in Symbolica de grote finale, de dans is leuk, maar haalt het niet qua finale van de Sultan zaal met de geest in de schatkamer en de spiraal neergang in het zompenwoud. In november ga ikzelf een ritje maken, ik ben zeer benieuwd of het voor mij ook de nieuwe nr. 1 kan worden en beter is als "De vliegende Hollander".
