Instead of saying the factory workers catchphrase Bismillah Allahu Akbar all day long when killing a 1 tonne worth of chickens, you just take cells from 1 healthy chicken, culture the heck out of its cells in a lab so you now have a 1000 kg of lab-grown chicken meat, and then you kill the 1 still alive chicken that was the donor and say the "necessary" ritual sacrifice words! You have to estimate it and the evidence for it is It was proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told his companions about the Dajjaal (antichrist). He was asked how long he would stay on earth, and he said, “Forty days, one day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week and the rest like your days.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allaah, the day which is like a year, will the prayers of one day be sufficient for us then?” He said, “No, estimate them.” So the day which will be like a year is not regarded as one day in which only five prayers will be sufficient, rather we are obliged to offer five prayers in each twenty-four hour period. He commanded them to offer the prayers at intervals as on a regular day.

@Pyrrhonist The difference is that vegans don't pay for animal cruelty. Vegetarians unwillingly pay for cows to be impregnated from one year old. Their babies taken away (most males killed) then after about 5 babies, they are killed for cheap meat. This is because their milk production declines. So cheese isn't a good excuse.

My hope is that, if modern nonsensical religions cannot change into mythologies, they will become reformed into "a way of life and philosophy" kind of thing, that takes the best bits from any books of old while scrapping the superstitious, the contra scientific and evil parts. What I'd really like, is for people to try to understand each other better and accept that some differences will always be present and that meaningful change takes time and that us vs. them mentality will almost always bring more harm than good.

300 years from now, if the practice of growing of meat in a laboratory is actually viable, sustainable and cost-effective and there is demand for it, I would bet my right foot (feel free to dig it up from my grave if I'm wrong) that there would be at least some parts of the world, if not the whole planet, where human meat that is grown in the lab - with full knowledge and permission of the donor of the human cells, of course - is readily sold and used for consumption and other things. A bit outlandish, I know, but most of the negative aspects of human flesh eating that have plagued us until now - namely the principle of sanctity of human life that is violated when killing or maiming the actual human being whose meat is then consumed as well as the taboos associated with the practice - would no longer apply. That is the strange idea that I had. That would definitely add another possible meaning to the phrase "eat me" :) It seems strange at first, but then again a lot of the things that are new and go against the tradition seem so in the beginning. Like, say for example, transfusing blood from a donor when it is the only way to save a patients life or using stem cells that come from unborn children or the global first of lab grown "cultured chicken" meat being approved for sale in Singapore for the first time in human history in year 2020. Strangely enough I am quite okay with this cannibalistic eventuality, so I would welcome your thoughts on the matter and all possible reasons against it. P.S. @Littlefinger331 this idea was sparked by your comment. If anything, please blame him (I'm joking, of course). TL;DR - don't read.

One reason to avoid halal meat is that the animals are not stunned before being slaughtered thus prolonging their psychological trauma. Problem arises when an ideology is based on worldly values and pride.

I'm in favor of lab grown meat if they also aim to produce lab grown cat meat and lab grown dog meat. And heck, I can't see any ethical reason as to why there shouldn't be any lab grown human meat. I would most certainly try that.

@Pyrrhonist Well, it's true, human beings are irrational when it comes to these things but since the available arguments clearly favor one side, maybe over time it will move in a more rational direction. I do think, though, that dog and cat meat would have to come first to let people get used to the idea and also to let them overcome their argument-lacking initial gut-feeling reaction, before lab grown human meat becomes commercially available. At the very least it should be allowed to produce, even if almost nobody would buy it at this time in history.

Ijtihad, is third source of islamic law after u went to al Quran and al Hadeeth. that's why. so its based on ulama (scholars) thinking, but the thinking based on lots of consideration. So, here's the thing. if the consideration were wrong from the truth (we never know this), it's still okay and not a sin. So in the case of lab grown meat, we may look at the Ijtihad by our scholars.

Or just pay us a visit again. How hard would that be for an infinitely wise being that also has infinite power? Heck, if you wanted to let everyone on the planet know you exist..... why send and angel to a single illiterate person while he's in a cave where conveniently no one can see that happen? If Allah decided to pick a random human, give him god powers and said "your task is to let everyone know I really DO exist" 99% of them would've done a better job at it than Allah did, or even more.

Bro u can see ppl and even kids getting....in Gaza and Sudan today right now in this moment and all the world do is looking, so please care about ppl before animals lol . Robert G. Ingersoll on the Trinity Christ, according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity the Father being the first and the Holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten - just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded from the Father and Son, but was equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say, before he existed, but he is of the same age of the other two. So, it is declared that the Father is God, and the Son God and the Holy Ghost God, and that these three Gods make one God. According to the celestial multiplication table, once one is three, and three times one is one, and according to heavenly subtraction if we take two from three, three are left. The addition is equally peculiar, if we add two to one we have but one. Each one is equal to himself and the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity. Is it possible for a human being, who has been born but once, to comprehend, or to imagine the existence of three beings, each of whom is equal to the three? Think of one of these beings as the father of one, and think of that one as half human and all God, and think of the third as having proceeded from the other two, and then think of all three as one. Think that after the father begot the son, the father was still alone, and after the Holy Ghost proceeded from the father and the son, the father was still alone - because there never was and never will be but one God. At this point, absurdity having reached its limit, nothing more can be said except: "Let us pray.
