@DETERMINOLOGY if the clocks turn out to be 3.4ghz then maybe he actually has a card. I suspect the performance will be around 40% faster than a 4090 so he's just simulating what it roughly could be. Power draw being around 500w makes sense due to the same node and having more cores and mem modules to feed.

The problem is that this video... could be true! I've seen this and another more recent one, in which he shows performance in Starfield, a game I know well. And the 4K performance it shows with an RTX 4090 is in line with what I have at home. Also, the temperature it shows for the 9800X3D is also right, if you use a water cooler (I use an air cooler). But in a month we will see if this is true or fake.

GPU-Z would have need an update - better use NVIDIA Inspector instead that early - all data coming from the driver. 😉

@@DETERMINOLOGY If I had to bet, I would guess that the review samples will arrive around one week before the actual reviews and in terms for the RTX 5090 this should happen between middle of january to middle of february, if we assume the RTX 5080 to launch two to four weeks earlier. Probably RTX 5090 reviews are published around somewhere between end of january to end of february. RTX 5080 reviews around middle to end of january.

People working in the industry know the actual ingame performance for sure, but keep in mind those are preview drivers. Well, next monday we also will know a tiny bit more when the launch dates are set and what the basic MSRPs excl. VAT are. I highly doubt that any reviewer has his hands on some ES or retail card yet, especially not on a working driver. When it comes to regular launches, reviewers get the HW around seven to nine days earlier, but sometimes have access to the press driver only like 3-5 days before the embargo. To make sure only unboxings happen before.
