আমরাও ফেঁসে গেছিলাম ২০০৯ সালে সেপ্টেম্বরে ঐ খারদুংলা পাসের ২ কিমি আগে! নুব্রা থেকে দুপুরে বেড়িয়ে নর্থ পল্লু তে ২ঘন্টার মতো আটকে দিলো কারন ওয়েদার খারাপ ছিলো ও বরফ পরছিলো! এরপরে উপরে চড়া শুরু করি টয়োটা করোলা গাড়িতে! ড্রাইভার মাঝে মাঝে নেমে ব্লাক আইসে মাটি দিয়ে রাস্তার পিছল অংশ পার করাচ্ছিলো, কিন্তু খারদুংলা পাসের ২কিমি আগে আবার ওয়েদার খারাপ হলো বরফ ভালো মতো পরছিলো তাই একটি BRO CAMP এ গাড়ি দাঁড় করিয়ে আশ্রয় নিলাম! মোট তিনটি গাড়িতে ১৯ জন যাত্রী ছিলো! তুষার ঝড় শুরু হলো কি ভয়ংকর আওয়াজ! ক্যাম্পটাতে দুজন মিলিটারী কর্মীর সাহায্য পেয়েছিলাম! সারারাত (-32˚C) একটি ডিসেল বুখারী জ্বলেছিলো অক্সিজেনের অভাব! রাতে সামান্য একটু খিচুরী ( যদিও খেতে ইচ্ছে হয়নি) পরদিন সকালে চেন লাগানো ডাম্পার মালপত্র সমেত আমাদের উদ্ধার করে! তাই সবাইকে অনুরোধ খারদুংলায় এডভেন্চার করতে রিস্ক নেবেন না!ওয়েদার রিপোর্ট ও ঠিকঠাক গাড়িতে যাবেন!
