Considering that stitching of photos is a mathematical-computational algorithm, the baseline should be gyroscope, accelerometer, A-GPS as reference-point of every camera and its sensor... with triangulation like Lidar, radar, architectural tools... the establishment of reference point for positional-sensors to report its position and use that reference to stitch photos instead of depending on the photo to stitch photo... maybe you are right about samsung being able to include all that in a single phone with women swinging arms in public like chimpanzees as a consequence Interlaced mpeg video at lowered resolutions can capture reverse-paint canvas... especially with a 3G or 4G mobile hotspot router as an additional reference to 5G A-GPS for increased-precision positional-reference-point

@@Lancea1ot4k, assuming an even 4000 pixels of image width (which often varies up or down depending on camera model), would be about 10-12 megapixels at conventional digital camera sensor dimensions of 4:3 to 3:2. 8MP at 4k assumes an image height of 500 pixels, and I don’t think 8:1 is a very common image aspect ratio. Bad math.

Back in the old days(60 years ago), a friend worked in remote sensing, when they used film, BIG film. He told a story of a couple "clever" technicians. The films was measured in feet. So they could resolve very fine (almost microscopic) detail. They took pictures of money of various countries. Tweaked the film images and printed their own. Apparently bags of it. It was very convincing back in the day. They got caught when one of them bought a very expensive car, for "cash." Far above their salaries.
