I used to be an avid IR fanboy, back in my younger days, travelling across without a care. With age catching up, and staying away from India, your videos give me the true and authentic flavor of train travel in India, from North to South and East to West. The best part of your videos lies in your smooth commentary, your pleasing personality and most of all, the genuine reviews. Of course, your knowledge about the myriad facts and tid-bits add a lot of flavour, and this is what separates you from the other (similar) IR content providers. It reminds me of my traveling days in India, and I get to live each journey through your videos and have been hooked on to your content. The extent of trouble you go to, to show us night skips and night stations, makes it a must-watch as the viewer doesn't really miss anything from each of your sojourns. Carry on the stupendously great work.

I completed Rameshwaram till Dhanushkodi and stayed there for 2 days. Being a "northie" (term used by the residents of southern India for north Indians) I DID NOT find any issue communicating or chatting with the local residents, the hospitality was acceptable. Only issue was they did not allow any male solo traveler to stay in most of their accommodations (due to recent 2019 Sri Lanka attacks) .. Another thing I was inspired with, was the walls of Rameshwaram station. They were filled with paintings depicting life of *Mahamahim Dr APJ Abdul Kalam* Sir. -Travelled in the monsoons of 2019 as Solo Muslim Travel from New Delhi, India. ❤

A senior colleague of mine from UP said, they call south indian as madrassi and didn't know so many languages existed here. He did feel offended that we also call them north indians and not by their state. So it's a knowledge gap and we better learn to live with it

@@cb-fq8jc I did not / do not find any issues refrreing each other as "northie" or "southier" .. what matters is an emotion for care and hospitality, and I dint find any issues with that while my several southern Indian trips. And yes I understand this is due to knowledge barrier. Even I had to use the same language to make my parents understand where I am going , for this trip. Instead of saying "I am going to Rameshwaram" .. I had to say " I am going near by Madras". Logically its not "North India" or "South India" we should refer these regions by "Northern India" and "Southern India". That really makes a huge difference. And I love southern states... will visit soon...🍀

Greetings from Melbourne, Australia. Extremely well presented video coverage. Video quality is also excellent, no shaky scenes. Video editing is very good and the video shooting not wasted on unnecessary coverage. I have lived in Rameswaram for 1 year and completed school final year in 1971, SSLC. At that time, my father was the Executive Engineer from Tamil Nadu Highways Department, who started the Pamban Road Project. In 1964, when Dhanushkodi was hit by the Psunami, I had visited Dhanushkodi prior to the Psunami incident, which I still remember. I also remember the Train Boat Mail going up to Dhanushkodi and to the Harbour, where travellers board the Ship to Ceylon, as it was known those days (now Sri Lanka). Video coverage, very well done. Please continue the great work.

I've been to the Chennai railway station, probably a hundred times, and of the view that this one of the well managed stations in India. Interestingly, this is a station where all the incoming trains go back in the same direction, as there is only the sea on the other direction. So, you'll note that moving across platforms is very easy unlike other stations where you need to take an overbridge or an underbridge. Station is often kept relatively clean but still a great deal of improvement is required. It is also adjacent to the local train station. There can be better restaurants and food joints.❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉

I read thumbnail as india to srilanka train ...😂 It would be very great if we connect srilanka with india with a bridge .. And sign a free trade agreement .. We should look at Europe even with differences countries like France and England are connected , Germany is connected with every country of Europe .. no one would have imagined or believed this scenario after or during world war .. We in south Asia have better peacefull history than Europe .. We should start connecting with Nepal , srilanka , Bhutan , Myanmar .. Some may call me deshdrohi but I would also support India pakistan normal relations .. and promote free trade agreements (atleast except for pakistan ;they may send rdx in free trade kind of border 😅😂) India will enjoy trade surplus in these small countries .. And we will hold a major soft power in those countries .. in some century we may include these countries in our india as part of indian union ( like European union ) .. This is a big visionary comment ..

This station brings back so many memories ❤. I used to study in Kodaikanal and we used to travel from Egmore to Madurai on Pandian express. This was all meter gauge in early 90s, train station TV would play music from Kadalan movie and chandrika soap ads! We would wander around the station all day and see Vaigai express depart in the evening. Almost 30 years have passed but the memories are still vivid. I'm a bengali but always found South india specially Chennai a really lovely city❤.
