The cops were extremely patient with the child. I wonder if the child would have packed & left quicker & non- confrontational if the cops would have waited for her downstairs🤔. Probably not. I feel so badly for the granddather because he tried helping her just as the cops did. She appeared to want to be the one in control of every decision. She has a problem with authority. God bless all parents who have to deal with children with similar issues. I pray that this teenager gets the help she so desperately needs 🙏🏿. I really hope she is properly diagnosed, treated, and sent to her father's home until she & her mother can both go to counseling and reunite. Sending prayers for the entire family.

We’re only seeing the fallout, not the events that lead up to this outcome. While it’s never ok for children to behave that way, there are situations where they are acting out because of how they are being treated. I’ve witnessed this several times in my line of work. Parents who provoke their children and then point the finger at them, leading the child feeling unheard, so they scream. This child, while she needs to be disciplined, also needs to be heard. Because there is likely a story there.

This child has mental issues she needs help , it starts when she grows up in a household with out a father figure and no discipline, I don’t know what they do with out of control children in 2024 but it’s not jail she needs intervention

​@ZyandShrimp true people that never been in that situation wouldn't understand that the parents or grandparents makes the child who he/she is. My MOTHER and GRANDMOTHER does the same thing to me similar to her situation in Jamaica they threatened to call cops on me. I didn't just get up 1 day hating them they never sit down and talk to me when i was a child so when me or other people hit teenager that's when stuff start to get aggressive alot of arguments and fights might happen 🤷🏾🤷🏾💯💯
