In terms of strength: Bengal tiger > Southern lion > Amur tiger > Indochinese tiger > Northern lion > South Chinese tiger > Javanese tiger > Malayan tiger > Sumatran tiger > Balinese tiger. So to say tigers are stronger than a lion is a cherrypick. Speed - again, no. The lion can run faster than a tiger can. They've adapted more to it. Unless you're talking about attack speed, you're wrong. Aggression - no. Lions are the most aggressive felids. In terms of lethal aggression, lions >> leopards > jaguars > tigers > snow leopards. Fighting skill - no. Lions can dodge blows quite well and can also grapple and strike better. They can even put weight behind their strikes. Moreover, they're smart enough to occasionally “trap” their opponents in combat.
