I play a 523 with 2 SS next to a Centre Forward and it's working out really well play quick counter. I play with Stojakovic and might highest is still div 5 but I am getting there. By the way I seen the tactic of rank 1. He basically moves Messi to the left wing to make it a 4213 and make his formation full meta

You analyze cheaters. All these players cheat and use lag to disrupt the opponent. I watched a couple of times when they play tournaments. Then they can't cheat, so they play like children. Cheating has been a problem for years and Konami is silent.

I think "assisted skill" is simply what the developers use, for testing they decided to put it in the game, sure the players move like real life counterparts, but its killed the game for me, i used to like just playing quick match, but thats not a level playing field now, why play it when everyone used "smart assist" f you Konami

I haven't been able to log in to the game for the last month. I played 1-2 matches today. I think the way of defending has changed after the update. I can't defend like I used to. I can't control the players, they make ridiculous runs. I couldn’t even win one shoulder-shoulder fight 😂 I can’t take the ball 😂 if you could make one video and explain how to defend after the update , it would be great mate. 😅

Youre right defending is less automated after the latest update. Hopefully Barry may well make a video but for now another Irish KZbinr by the name Rokchuk has made a video on it that was helpful for me. If you search his channel you’ll find it, its called ‘why you’re struggling to defend in 2025’ or something similar.

in my opinion if you play meta, it always feels like the system wants you to play like this to override certain shortcomings. And when you put L Stick Dribbling on to that you confuse a lot of players. Because as far as i could see since Ef 22 a lot of players playstyle is dependent on the mistakes and the pressure of the opponent. If you let them pass aimlessly and keep your defense at the back, many cannot do much because they lack in dribbling..

@@chimaira67 they don’t push forward. This game has become counter vs counter tactics so you have two people with static defenses and quick counter tactics battling each other. Try anything else and you get cooked by these anti football tactics.
