This presentation highlights some of the more memorable moments in the early history of baseball's World Series. Individual stars featured include Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Brooks Robinson, and Roberto Clemente, as well as some of the more infamous moments in Fall Classic annals, such as the Lombardi Snooze (1939), Mickey Owen's passed ball (1941), and Bill Bevins' lost no-hitter (1947). Also includes a segment on Game 7 of the 1960 World Series and Bill Mazeroski's famous walk-off homer. Lots of rare highlights and details make this an interesting look back at the early years of the World Series.
