world trade center | 3D (a mood video)

made a mood video version! liked the short version i made earlier, ended up making a full one. hope the mixing turned out well, wanted to give the night vibes (and i hope the cuts arent that jarring)
anyways, this is the world trade center. the twin sentinels. the twin towers. new york's icons... until 2001. i may have been born in 2003, but i sure would like to remember this world wonder during its storied life, not for its horrible demise.

a very apt description of the towers indeed ❤ the trees (or as we call them these days, the tridents) were meant to invoke the feeling of being in a cathedral. yama was such a master of this style that was meant to invoke classical proportions and blend it with modernity- it was called new formalism nyc forever changed when they were built. those two towers really changed the skyline ~ some would say then it was for the worse when they were new, but by the 90s, all you had to do to draw new york was to draw random building silhouettes and then somewhere in the middle, two tall rectangles, and it would instantly be known what this place represents.
