Maybe the reason you can't flatten the land is because there are still trees in the way? It wouldn't make much sense to raise or lower an entire tree along with the ground

Even if it doesn't work it just seems the obvious thing to try. I really don't get why he doesn't even try that...Isn't that kinda the point of trying out pre release games. Try to find out stuff.

Loving the series, but I'm conflicted. Do I keep watching and spoil more before I get to play, or stop and come back to it after I've played? Decisions, decisions. Regarding not being able to make iron ingots and stuff until tier 3, maybe they want you to be buying them from the merchant until you reach it. There was one that had them for sale if you'd wanted to. I know they intend the Trading Post to be integral to progressing your town.

Love your colony cities planing and this city is no exception! keep them coming pls & thank you. Maybe try to remove the road by the sand pit before the flattening works? Could be that the road is in the "way" of the works? I also know that after few tries the results could be different.

If trying to reduce travel time, I think you can build temporary shelters out by your work camps to prevent them walking back to town. Your work camps don't seem that far out to me, though, so maybe that's for when they're further out. Dunno. Might have to pair it with horsie carts to haul stuff to town; not sure precisely.

Beginning to wonder if it's time to invest in walls. It would probably be awkward to build around your entire village (that's a lot of wood!) but maybe if you walled in your markets and vaults, then put gates along the road, it would buy you enough time to beat back the raiders and minimize how much they steal?

Keep digging Gold and Iron you have enough people, keep selling at the Trader and use the money to build.Might want to get some extra storage next to the mines. Not sure but can you assign more people to the trader, they would collect the goods faster to have the trader storage full...same as in Bannished.....love your gameplay

It looks like the trader's inventory count is on the far right side of the window and it appears that you might have been able to purchase some of their stock. The window is setup weird, you would think the trader's inventory would be on the left, but for some reason the devs put it on the far right side. Hope that helps!

This game looks amazing, the only downside is the lack of variety in the homes and decorative items we have access to. Hopefully it's something they add to over the course of the early access. I guess I can also blame Anno 1800 to completely spoiling me with the sheer amount and variety of decorative things xD.

Try to flatten a small area and start to drag from the highest ground downhill.

For food variety, you need to provide something other than meat and fruit/veg. i.e. milk from the cattle or bread from windmill + bakery.

Love the series, but why are you complaining about distance, it's what the temporary Shelter is used for, send out people everywhere and just build temporary shelters to grab the resources. And also when it says build a well, do what it says instead of assuming one down the road will work.

Your town is growing and looking very pretty! Such an amazing game and so cool how realistic it is about how things are done. I'm still confused why they put some things in tier 3 that should be switched with things in tier 2. Foundry should be tier 2. Looking great tho!

You had, the time, people and resources to build guard towers ... @17:12 This raid was a joke! Over 30 raiders took just 52 gold inglots and arrows? Any bandit worth that name would rob the merchant as well. ;)
