World War 2 Reenactment as a German MG42 Gunner - Big WW2 Military Camp - Borlo Belgium [PART 2]

Hello my friends!
Another upload, PART 2 of the Reenactment event in Borlo (Belgium) 2022!
Me and my friend Bert were invited to participate in this reenactment, so we went there as German Wehrmacht soldiers.
I decided to go as a machine gunner, so of course I took my MG42 with me.
Bert went as my helper, and he decided to take his Mauser K98k with him.
Together we, we were a good Historically Correct team!
A lot happened during this reenactment, and one of these things resulted in me getting furious, and never ever going back here again.

Our troops actually did something very similar to that in Vietnam where they would boobytrap ammunition to where it would explode in the enemy's weapons

These videos are very fun to watch for those like myself who cannot afford every bit of reenactment gear though I think just because you cannot buy everything at once it shouldn't stop you from taking what you have and camping, picnicking or whatever and having an anachronistic experience at least.

Love your videos and all the information you give. I’m fascinated and always have been on the German side of the war and just love the really dashing uniforms and the steel helmets. Awesome. My biological father was in the Wehrmacht so everything is close to my heart. Thank you for your videos. Lovely video as always, Nick! What a great way to start the weekend. As I am watching this I have received my M42 Stahlhelm and my M1 Helmet replicas and they are absolutely amazing. The M1 has it's own netting, and for the Stahlhelm I plan to add chicken wire onto it. Alas, I have received my gear after a month of waiting haha.
