Ricky... hose are GHQ models mostly. The boards are 3x1 ft each and they were on a 6x4 dinner table. Of course there was some overhang. Hand to be careful walking around the edges.

Ghq makes them it's 1/285 or 6mm scale

Grass is fine foam or flock (sawdust)?

It is primarily flock, but some fine foam for bordering between fields.
