Hi Brother, I don't see how this can be offensive? I think the author used the accent as a way of representing a man from Borena. Accent is not a big deal to mock on. It is better to take just the message without further digging. I apologise if my comment is offensive. But that is what I felt when I watched the video. God Bless Ethiopia.

so my question is....Who's voice is this? did the old man record his letter on tape and send it abroad??? or is the son reading the letter for the video?? if its the later, I'm comfortable to infer that this man speaking in the video is an actor...as a letter is not read with this much drama in a reader's voice. If its the former, i'm inclined to question why someone in Borena use a tape to communicate with their son.

the rular people of ethiopia have never gotten this many services from the government since ....ever. They get so much support, training and assistance to pull themselves up by the boot stapes. Water, electricity, farming technologies assistance and training, schools, medical facilities...even internet is spreading in all the rular areas. Yes. we are not yet there...at the finish line but the country has never been this determined to grow. But there is always people like you...bitter, hateful

So sad! what TPLF did on Oromo people and other Ethiopian this story was told before 12years!
@2maskstudio16 жыл бұрын
It is good,if it is not to use the blood of Oromos as usual.But if you are tearing a corockodiles tear and then try to apply your old fashend startegy in a thinking of using the inocent side of Oromos,please think again,that strategy is doesn't go with the young generation. The 'reader'--it would have been better if you read it in your true accent,than the accent you were using in other days to crack 'jock' on the same population.-Oromos
