My mother had a friend who managed a paint store. A couple came in, the man took the manager into the back room to get the safe open. The wife stayed up front, my mother was showing her paint samples. there was a contest with a full home make over as top prize. She talked the lady in to entering it, took the entry for and folded it in a unique way. The police were at their house before they got home. The wife admitted entering the contest because she wanted a nicer house. I don't think that worked out well for her. FYI, she didn't win the contest.

Im a gm for dollar tree, yes much different than a DG but we were robbed at 930am. Literally 30 minutes after opening. End of day xmas eve and we barley top a couple grand in cash but 930am on a random Tuesday..... Guy got maybe 75 bucks. Pure stupidity.

Some are homeless and they want to go to jail. I lived like two weeks in a shelter and I heard PLENTY of people agreeing that the only plan they had was commit a crime because it's a win win. They get away with it they got cash or a free ride to a free bed and meals during the winter.

The final one of the guy getting out of jail and immediately stealing a marked cop car I admit is definitely the dumbest one on the list but it's also the saddest one on the list too. That guy knew exactly what he was doing when he stole it and probably also knew it's a bigger felony to steal a cop car then it would have been to steal any other person's car. He was probably so institutionalized he didn't have any idea how to function outside of jail and probably didn't even want to leave. So he walked out and stole that car and went right back in to jail. That's really sad. Dumb yes, but very very sad.

Have you ever heard of the naked rambler from Scotland? This guy simply refuses to wear clothes so is constantly being arrested and sent to prison for indecent exposure. Every single time he gets released, as soon as he steps outside the prison he immediately gets naked and is immediately rearrested. While he's in prison he's kept in solitary for obvious reasons. Definitely not a good idea to let a naked guy walk around a prison. The worst thing is he can't understand why he's not allowed to walk around in public bollock naked

This one time my friend was on a liquor fuelled black out on Main Street in Winnipeg Canada, well my buddy. in his drunken state decided he could break into the subway with nothing but his bare hands…. He then cut the shit outta his hands and arms leaving a lot of his blood behind in addition to that he also answered the phone when the alarm company called the subway to request medical attention telling them his first and last name he immediately realized he had just made a terrible mistake decided he was gonna flee on foot to his uncles not four blocks away leaving in the snow a perfect blood trial almost from door to door he somehow managed to escape again but by the next day he was arrested at the health science center while attempting to get his wounds stitched up under a fake name with no ID

The Dollar General probably have $200 to $400 in the drawer depending on the time of day. Not everything a Dollar General is $1 and a higher percentage of the people they market to pay in cash than Target. Robbing that place would likely be on par with knocking over a gas station.

Dollar stores in my town, NC, have crazy money. People will drop $300, that's a line of customers with 3/4/5 carts, each person spending that or more. I think the dollar tree by the house really would hold thousands of dollars daily so if he saw the register like I've seen it, 7 registers, each one overflowing & difficult to close it had do much at 11am & open at 8, I might've gone there too!!!

fyi, dollar stores and the like are big cash business. though they aren't supposed to, they are known for hundreds of dollars in the registers. I've worked management in them, it isn't hard to collect up $500 or more in cash in a register. plus you're trained to give up the $$$, so you are safer. My brother wasn't so bright either. See my brother broke the law for the third time. And also violating his probation four times. Then 5 months ago he was arrested again for child images and videos. He told someone that Nationwide that he's going to go to jail again and he told his probation officer he did between December 2020 to February 2021. And then when the the sheriff came to his location he admitted in front of the sheriff's and he confessed to my dad was with him at the time he was arrested. He was downloading child images in 2016. You're arrested then when he was on probation then he's violated his probation four times. When he was arrested June 15th 2021. He told the truth I'm body cam because the sheriff did have their body cams and he confessed to Dad and them that he did it between December 2020 to February 2021 you know what he knew that the shares can track them down on what he was downloading through a Wi-Fi. That's how they calm the first time. But it wasn't as bad first time but second time it was awful it was very bad because it was downloading child videos and images of children under the age the 12. Well still in jail for now until he gets his court date and see how much time he has to serve. It wasn't very smart. Actually told me Nationwide employee and also his probation officer. He knew the sheriff's actually can track his activity on our IEP address. It wasn't smart. Like he wanted to get caught. Well he got what he wanted he wasn't very smart. He's still in jail.
