How to count to 1023 on your fingers

How high can you count on your fingers? Think it is only 10? In this video I am going to show you how to count to 1023 on your fingers by using positional notation where each finger represents a binary digit (1 or 0).

I corrected the numbers on my fingers: thumb is 16, index finger is 8, middle finger is 4, fourth finger is 2, and pinky is 1. I used finger labels on both hands. If you use labels, you don't have to skip 132 because it draws attention that you are counting and not just putting your middle fingers up.
