@@kauze_. If you knew it, why didn’t you say Britton and Sydney bossed that relay? Especially since McGlaughlin ran the fastest leg of everyone out there. I don’t think you knew until you were just informed. But yeah, Wilson handed her a lead that only a random plane falling out of the sky and landing on Sydney would’ve gave Jamaica a chance for the gold.

Whats up with this commentator? Hardly any mention of Britton Wilson extending the lead and Sydney McLachlan stretching it out further. The first runner ran really well and handed off to Abby Steiner who held her form and gave Wilson a small lead which Wilson extended. The comment; "the jamaicans made them work hard for that", wtf, they were well out in front. I'm not a USA fan as well, but you have to give credit where credit is due.

For the 2nd WC in a row, Athing won't get a chance to try and break that long-standing 4x4 WR with Syd, Britton (who created the separation in this race) & Abby given the terrible scheduling of the 800m & 4x4 Finals being just 1hr apart :( Would like to see Gabby brought into that relay pool given her recent 49.68 400m PB! Britton's Arkansas teammate Nickisha Pryce should also be brought into JAM's 4x4 relay pool. GB's pool will be boosted by the additions of Jodie Williams, Yemi Mary John & Amber Anning.

This announcer made no mention at all of the outstanding let Britton Wilson ran. He spoke about the 2nd and 3rd place runners, but no mention of Britton's leg when she pulled away. He has covered many T&F events over the years and he does this crap a lot. I remember Will London's 4x4 leg in 2019. He did the same thing even though London had already separated from the Jamaican runner. There seems to be some major bias against US runners in countries overseas.
