Yes, it is. He had had a new neck put on it with that silly looking inlay pattern. He said he didn't like it much after a while.

Earl did have quite a few Bow ties throughout his life. I believe this was well after he had the bow tie neck on his Granada that would up warping. It could be, but I believe that was earlier on than this.
