It might be more helpful to see either the best percentage tier one capital each retains or the total in actual easily negotiable assets that tier one capital represents. It is as we all saw in 2008 it is fairly easy to become a very large bank . What really counts is the quality of the loan book and the size of the cushion held in case of mass default.
