Love it Kalani! Teach Basic Cajon with my K-6 students. Very interesting Cajon Drum sets. Have my own set with High hat, Crash cymbal, Cow bells, Chimes. Thank you for sharing your NAMM 2023 visit. 🎼

I wish I could to NAMM one day, but normal people like myself are forbidden from going. I found that to go, you have to be one of the following: a manufacturer, a professional musician, a demonstrator, or a friend of one of the people mentioned. And I’m afraid that if I even show up to the door and they found out I’m none of these things, I could end up in jail. So I’m just gonna give up my dream of going to NAMM.

They used to have public tickets available. I would ask your local music store if they could get you a pass.

Thanks for great vids and info. But please, cajon is the spanish word for box, and is pronounced 'cahon' with a short 'o' (vowels in spanish are nearly always short, unlike english where they can be short or long). So, it is not pronounced 'cahone' as you are doing. Cultural awareness/respect is always important - especially for a 'world drum' club. Keep up the great work.
