@ Lobzang Namgyal, the ecology of Ladakh is about to saturate trying to cope up with the ever increasing numbers of tourists coming into the region and using up the scarce resources that are available. I know this because I have seen Leh in the early nineties and now and can compare. I believe, locals now, want more number of flights into Leh. That can be, at their peril. The fragile ecology of Ladakh can sustain only upto a point.... Hope the educated Ladakhis understand this...
