Excellent video, this is exactly what I was looking for. I just got a used 2013 Dodge Journey a few months ago. The start button still works fine but the front of it is faded and worn out and I'd like to replace it.

Get rid of it. We just had to replace the fuse box. $1,100. It's a nice vehicle, but the 2013 Journeys have alot of electrical issues. We've put a new starter, battery, and alternator on it. Not including having to replace wiring. Just my opinion.

I have a 2010 Dodge Journey. I drove to the store and when I came out it wouldn’t start. Key turns but stuck and won’t come out. Completely dead. No lights. No sounds. No clicks. Nothing at all. Battery tested good. Terminals are clean and tight. Thoughts?

Did you try the security reset by pushing the start button 5 times then depressing the brake & starting it? There’s several videos on KZbin

What could be the reason? The car does not turn off the engine, I press stop and nothing, after the 3rd time the immobilizer is activated. Start button hundred replaced, new battery and batteries in the keys. Fiat Freemont

I'm having to replace mine because it's having a split second delay before it engages to start the vehicle.

@@waynebowling8139 hello did this fix your issue? Mine started having like a 2 or 3 second delay and now it does not turn on anymore… I already replaced the starter and relay.. so mechanic advised to replace the ignition switch next

I just removed the bottom panel 2 10mm and a clip and reached up to the clips on the ignition switch

I'm the lucky owner of a 2011 dodge journey. I have a quick question. I'm in the process of hunting a gremlin down. after i turn my car off i notice my dash cluster and push button stays lit. could a faulty start button cause this issue? any reply would help. thanks!
