The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is both ideological and territorial, with each side claiming the land as their own and asserting themselves as its original inhabitants. Historically, however, this land was originally Canaanite and part of Lebanon before it was settled by the Hebrews. Jerusalem, for instance, was built by Melchizedek, the Phoenician king from the Lebanese city of Sidon, long before Abraham declared it the Promised Land. Here are some questions I’d like to share with the world: * If Gaza is truly Palestinian, as they claim, why was it called Judea in 150 BCE, and why was its ruler at the time Simon Maccabeus? * How do they interpret the fact that the Quran mentions "Israel" 52 times but never mentions Palestine, not even once? * How do they explain that Christ addressed Jews and the Phoenician Canaanites, but never addressed the so-called Philistines? * What is their stance on the Romans, who were occupiers of that land, and their historians, who never recorded any mention of Philistines existing on that territory?

The Lebanese should get rid of Hezbollah as it doesn’t serve their interests but serve the interests of Iran. They didn’t have to get involved in the Gaza conflict but they chose to. I agree with helping the Palestinians but ultimately is it worth destroying half your country and allowing an invader to reoccupy your land? I don’t think so.

Ideological issue , The islamists will always choose the "Ummah" over a nation. Hence why islamism hates everything that exist including its own existence . I mean the virtue is to become a martyr and screw this life up and they have managed to do that, now Lebanese is refugees in iraq , Beirut is being destroyed . Why did Israel go to war with Lebanon in 2006? United Nations: On 12 July 2006, Hezbollah ambushed Israeli soldiers on the border, killing three and capturing two; a further five were killed during a failed Israeli rescue attempt. Hezbollah demanded an exchange of prisoners with Israel. Actions have consequences. Weird the Arab people can’t seem to grasp that concept.

We should and can come together after the dust settles to return innocent ppl displaced to their homelands and help them rebuild. It's such a sad reality but, I would agree with your friend in the video that this won't end soon. Many or most leaders on both sides don't want it to end for all sorts of reasons none of which is to save your homeland or businesses. Don't fight on or defend either side. Falasteez the biggest lie of the 21st century , I think all martyrdom seeking lovers should create their own nation and stop involving people who dont want to be part of this machinery to reach "Jannah" . Its a severe ideological issue , and the elephant in the room remains unaddressed.

Here are some answers I'd like to share with the world for you: -Merely 254 years ago, Australia was NOT called Australia and was only inhabited by Aboriginal people for at least 65000 years, so that whole piece of land got a new name after 65000 years , so if that land was called Judea in 150BCE and then the demography of the population changed significantly for a significant amount of time, then Gaza is Palestinian. - The Holly Quran mentions the "PROPHET ISRAEL" who is also known as Prophet Jacob 52 times and NOT the name of the land... Get your facts straight. -Jesus addressed the people who became Palestinian, The Palestinians and the Lebanese are the true descendants of the Phoenicians and Canaanites, NOT THE EUROPEANS OR THE BROOKLYN JEWS!!!!!!.

I don't think you understand the situation from the israeli perspective. Lebanon has been firing rockets at israel for almost a whole year and nobody talks about it. Hezbollah whatever, it's part of lebanon, and many lebanese support Hezbollah especially in the south. Israel has been trying so hard not to escalate the situation, but 11 months of rockets is just insane especially when there are almost 80,000 evacuated israelis from the north. So lebanon is a cool country sure, but you can't hide the fact that the majority of lebanese want israel off the map, so no. I don't support lebanon.
@tarek-jawad23 күн бұрын
I think you have been brainwashed. Your government put a complete external media ban in your country. Maybe they were trying to hide something, just maybe.. I bet you didnt know that Israel invaded Lebanese Airspace over 35000 times with fighter jets, and drones since 2006, , I wonder what they were doing, but Lebanon didnt even fire 1 rocket over the border during that time in retaliation..... can you imagine if even 1 drone from Lebanon went over Israeli airspace in that time what Israel would have done . I have nothing against you, but maybe you should do some research, you will be shocked about the Israeli massacres into Lebanon, I mean Israel invaded Lebanon twice before Hezbollah was formed, in 1978 and 1982, it took the resistance untill the year 2000 to liberate South Lebanon from your invading army, we still have land that belongs to us that we will get from you, hopefully peacefully one day.. Did you know that the first strike Hezbollah did on the 8th of October last year was on military targets into the Sheebaa farms, which is annexed Lebanese land and is allowed by international law. Off-course you wouldnt have known that. Please just do research outside of the usual media outlets you get your current info from. Also you had 80,000 evacuated Israelis, we had over a million Lebanese evacuated. What people from all around the world want is for both Jews and Palestinians to live together on that land with equal rights, self determination and peace. There would be no fighting if everyone was treated equally... Why cant you understand that everyone just wants peace.. Sort out the Palestinian problem, give them their human rights and share the land with them (God didnt give the land to the jews only, god is not a real estate agent), give back the Lebanese land that was annexed from Lebanon and there wouldnt be a reason for either Hamas or Hezbollah to exist. Thats how you get peace in the Middle East, and there would be no reason for war anymore.Peace!

Lebanon is occupied by Iran. Israel helped Lebanon and pushed them back but Lebanon has to fight to get rid of the rest of them.

@@meredithe6986 If you are not Lebanese then mind your own business and refrain from telling us what to do on our own land. Israel is going back behind our border with their tails between their diapers. 70,000 IOF soldiers couldnt even advance more than 4kms inside Lebanon, with superior air power, tanks, navy and the most advanced intelligence while being helped by the US, the UK and Germany... I wonder why? Just like the US gives Israel all its weapons while Americans are homeless, Iran gives Lebanon weapons to defend itself..... Your corrupt genocidal Prime Minister speaks in front of a US congress and thats ok, but we are not allowed to get weapons from another country to defend ourselves? Get out of here.

Lebanon as a country is like a Land Rover: beautiful looking and attractive however if you look at its history for every year it spent on the road (peace) it's probably been in the shop (war) for three years, very unstable and constantly on the brink of a conflict. I have always questioned if it's really meant to be a country (politically speaking) and if carving it out of Syria in the first place was the right decision.

Although the war has been in a ceasefire my family still didn't unpack our luggage for evacuation since war may happen unfortunately.
